Jaime Pressly Has Baby Boy

Jaime Pressly and her deejay fiancé, Eric Cubiche, welcomed a baby boy into the world Friday.

Dezi James was born at 7:31 a.m. in Los Angeles and weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz.

The Emmy-nominated actress, 29, who also designs the clothing line J'aime, told People Magazine the name is part of a running joke – the Cuban-American Cubiche, 33, does a Desi Arnaz impersonation, calling Pressly "Luuucy" when he comes home at night. James is her father's name.

The couple were friends for more than nine years and dated for a year and a half before getting engaged in October, when Cubiche presented Pressly with a ring they had designed together.

"I was just kind of peeking around every corner and searching in every drawer to see when I was going to get it," she says.

The couple are in no rush to get married. "I do want to be a princess for a day," Pressly told PEOPLE last year, "but it's not necessary to do that before you have kids. A lot of women do it later."

Jaime Pressly Talks About Her Pregnancy

Jaime Pressly is having a difficult time with her pregnancy.


She says she didn't expect her body to change as drastically as it has. Pressly is expecting a son next month, who is already named Dezi James.

She tells PageSix, "These little saddlebags on the side of me right now - I've never had anything like that. And my boobs are completely out of control. When my milk comes in, I'm going to be able to feed a small village."
